KS1 - Age 5 -7 Years old
In Key Stage 1, we build on the familiar skills initiated in Early Years. As we help them increase and mature, they begin to experience a more formal approach to learning. Using the National Curriculum for England, our teachers apply a skills-based approach to enable children to develop their technological and academic understanding that will make them competent and life long learners. This is a step in the right direction. KS1 are for 5-7-year-old children in Years 1-2.Topics covered are:
Reading comprehension and writing composition
English grammar and punctuation
Spelling and vocabulary.
Whole numbers mental fluency, Counting and place value, Shapes and object recognition.
KS2 - Age 8 - 11 Years old
Key Stage 2 comprises of Years 3 to Year 6. Our emerging students revel in a positive, invigorating, yet challenging learning environment which develops from the experiences from Key Stage 1.
We inspire students to become independent learners who take pride in their work and strive to achieve results. We help students mature socially and emotionally, giving them opportunities to collaborate with their peers, hear about different perspectives from across the world, and share their ideas and achievements with other children via the online platform.
In Years 5 and 6, the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum enhances skills and understanding established in Lower Key Stage 2.
KS3/4 - Age12 - 16 Years old
Secondary Programme comprises of Maths, English and Science and is intended to support those children who are in Years 7 to 9, the critical pre-GCSE stage.
Class sizes are relatively small, approximately four / five children in a class and children receive adequate personalised time and attention from the teacher. in This enables them to get the assistance needed with the topics with which they might be struggling.
One to one tuition can also be arranged upon request on any of these subjects.
11 Plus Tuition
